The first Sirius> Smart Sounds was opened in July 1997, as the fourth shop in the Netherlands. In this shop we tried to integrate all the things that we think Sirius stands for. This basically means the integration of herbal energizers and psychedelics with underground dance music. Since 2005 all our shops (except the one in Eindhoven) are Sirius> Smart Sounds stores, the complete combination of smartshop and recordshop. In 2007 we took this formula abroad and opened our newest Sirius> Smart Sounds store in Praha, Czech Republic.
Sirius> Smart Sounds, for one part, is a Smart Shop of the exact same quality as what we offer in our Smart Galleries. For the other part, Smart Sounds is a record shop, specialized in todayҳ dance music on vinyl and CD. Its huge vinyl collection makes Smart Sounds the only record shop of its kind in the south of the Netherlands, with an outstanding reputation across the border too. And of course, Smart Sounds is also the best place in Maastricht for party info and ticket presale.
