A tall tree, up to 15 metres high. Some African tribes use it as a holy sacrament during weddings and other rituals. Quebracho is another yohimbine containing tree, native to South America.
Yohimbin, Yohimbiline, Ajmaline and Alloyohimbine.
Yohimbine, the active substance in the bark, is one of the most popular aphrodisiacs in the world, acknowledged by medical scientists, who usually are very sceptical about sex stimulants. It causes mild perceptual changes (no hallucinations), warm spinal shivers and sometimes spontaneous erections. In man it can extend the erection(s) and several men and women have reported that Yohimbe increases their orgasms in number and/or intensity.
The powdered bark has to be boiled thoroughly in water for 15 minutes. After cooling off, the liquid can be filtered and drunk. By adding 500 to 1000 mg of vitamin C, the effects will not only be intensified and prolonged, but the risks will also be reduced!
20 grams of powder per 1/2 litre of water.
