More about Kanna ET2 Extract
Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) is a succulent from South Africa. Its relaxing effects were discovered by the Khoikhoi more than 300 years ago. The tribal members use kanna as a euphoric stimulant. It is sniffed, chewed or prepared as a tea. It removes worries and has a mood-enhancing and empathogenic effect.
In a higher dose it creates a euphoric feeling and a more intensive connection with the environment. After ingestion, it is slightly stimulating and after about an hour more relaxing . Some users experience increased sensitivity to touch and an increase in libido.
The active ingredients of Sceletium tortuosum are mesembrine, mesembrenone, mesembrenol and tortuosamine. Mesembrine, the most important alkaloid, is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).
Kanna ET2 extract - use:
ET2 can be used as a snuff and can be drunk as a tea.
Pay attention to the dosage, as this is a very powerful kanna extract.
Use 15 - 20 mg for mild experience and 40 - 50 mg for stronger experience.
When you sniff it, the effects are active within three minutes. This will last approximately 30 minutes. If you drink this extract as a tea, it takes a little longer before it is effective. But the big advantage: the effect lasts longer, up to about two hours.
Sceletium tortuosum is a selective serotonine-reuptakeinhibitor (SSRI). It may not be combined with other SSRIs (Seroxat, Prozac) or monoamine-oxidase inhibitor (MAO-I), such as Peganum harmala, Banisteriopsis caapi, passion flower (Passiflora incarnata) and yohimbe. If in doubt, consult your physician.
Kanna is a food supplement enriched with plant extracts for occasional use. Use, other than stated in the operating instructions, is entirely at your own risk.
