Clip the fan securely to a tent pole, like those found in Mars Hydro grow tents, and position it so the airflow moves across or just above the canopy rather than blasting one plant from close range. You may also place it below the canopy if that is where humidity builds up. Make sure the fan has enough space to oscillate freely without hitting the tent wall, lights, cables, or branches. Start on a lower speed and increase it until you can see gentle movement through the leaves. As your plants grow and the canopy gets thicker, reposition the Mars Hydro clip-on fan when needed to keep air moving through the whole tent.

The Mars Hydro M6 clip fan runs from 0 to 2100 RPM across 10 speed levels and reaches a maximum airflow of 315 CFM, approximately 535 m³/h. Rated power consumption is only 9 W ±5%. It measures about 206 × 228 × 236 mm and has an IP44 rating. That means it is splash-resistant, not waterproof.

Smart control when you want it

The fan works very well on its own, but it also integrates with the newer Mars Hydro smart ecosystem. With other compatible RJ12 hardware such as the Mars Hydro iControl Smart Grow Room Controller, you can adjust the speed and oscillation using the MarsPro app, set schedules and cycles, and adapt operation in real time using temperature and humidity data.
