- Standard: Sirius. nl chooses the best and most economical solution for your order. Within the Netherlands this will usually be PostNL. Deliveries on Mondays to Saturdays and evenings on weekdays.
- UPS Standard: this is an option that offers more security for deliveries on Monday to Friday during office hours, because tracking data is more accurate and a signature is required for receipt.
- UPS Express Saver: option for guaranteed delivery on the next business day (Monday to Friday) during office hours, with signature for receipt and accurate tracking data.
- COD / C. O. D. (Cash On Delivery): You pay the total amount in cash (adapted) to the postman, or driver of PostNL or UPS, upon delivery. Make sure the driver leaves a signature for receipt, on the address label on your parcel, and keep this as proof of payment. The second form on your package is for the UPS driver, and contains all the shipment details so that the amount paid to us. This is a paid service; look for the extra costs at 'Rates'.
Small items are shipped in an envelope or letterbox pack, and larger orders are shipped as parcels. On the day of dispatch you will always receive an e-mail with track & trace barcode so that you can follow your shipment on http://postnl.nl. If you are not at home at the time of delivery, the postman leaves a note that the package has been delivered to the neighbours, or that a second attempt follows. In the latter case, you can choose an appropriate time on the PostNL website. Letterbox shipments are of course simply delivered. For orders under 15 euro we automatically charge 6.50 euro shipping costs, the price for a standard package. If your order fits in a letterbox pack, we will refund 3,00 euro of overpaid postage to your bank account!
UPS delivers on Monday through Friday during office hours. Once the shipment has been created, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking code so that you can follow your package on www.ups.com. A signature is required for receipt. Are you not at home at the moment of delivery? In small villages or in remote locations there will be a maximum of 2 new delivery attempts. We recommend that you contact UPS Customer Service (see www.ups.com for local contact details) to arrange an appropriate delivery time. If the driver cannot deliver the package at the third attempt, the shipment will be returned to Sirius. nl. Shipping costs will still be charged. In cities and larger towns, if you are not at home, your package will be delivered to a UPS Access Point; this is usually a shop with large opening hours, within walking distance of your delivery address, so that you can pick up the package at a convenient time.
