Pulegon
Pulegon
Pulegon, a monocyclic monoterpenoid, is a small component of cannabis. Higher concentrations of pulegon are found in rosemary. Pulegon breaks down acetyl choline in the brain, enabling nerve cells to communicate more effectively with each other.
An ethnopharmacological study indicates that pulegon may have significant calming and fever-reducing properties. It can also alleviate the side effects of short-term memory loss, which can sometimes be associated with higher THC levels.
Pulegon has a pleasant peppermint aroma and is considered to be a strong insecticide.
