Terpinolene appears to be a the central nervous system depressant, used to cause sleepiness or to reduce psychological excitement or anxiety. Furthermore, terpinolene was found to significantly reduce the protein expression of AKT1 in K562 cells and to inhibit cell proliferation involved in a variety of human cancers.
